1) Download the driver <-- that is the 64 bit version
2) Run it
3) Follow the directions

i have the driver already. From my pass experience from windows xp
1. i will have to uninstall the current video driver first then shut down pc.
2. plug the VGA cable from on board video outlet to the Video card Outlet.
3. turn on pc and install new video driver. ( DONE )
But now my problem is i don't know how windows 7 works do i have to uninstall the old driver just like XP? or just simply plug into video driver without uninstalling the old driver which i did try and it turns out the screen is black .. pls help me and tell me the steps thanks

it is recommended to uninstall any old driver before installing a new one.
go download driver sweeper. This will help you remove all the old files that add/remove program fail to remove. Run this after you use add/remove program or "program and feature" in win 7. Then run the driver sweeper and select "ATI" and click clean.

And if you want to do it safe, what i do is I usually disable my internet before i restart to install the new driver. This would prevent win7 automatic install the driver you don't want upon restarting. Hope this help.

You don't need to uninstall old drivers anymore with Catalyst on Windows 7. But if you had a GeForce or other video card in there before, then definitely uninstall them first.

I have a geforce 8800GT. The problem i'm having is that after I uninstall the driver, it asked me to restart the computer. Then after I restart, it automatically installs its own driver again. How can I stop Win7 to do auto install?

you might have to go to the window update setting and change the setting to "check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them"

3) Take out the Nvidia card
4) Put in the ATI card
5) Install ATI drivers
