Wanted computer repair store
I have a lenovo E550 laptop.
All works fine except it does not charge when plugged in. AC adapter works as well as the battery. Computer is fine when charged.
It fell on a carpeted floor and since then will not charge.
Does anyone know of a good computer repair shop they can recommend.

I second the Hackary The Hackery They are very honest and do evaluation before charging you money.
Looks like the part you need is 00HT632 it is about $60.

The hardest thing to do is diagnose the problem. If you know what needs to be fixed, just do it yourself. I had to replace the power jack harness on my XPS 15 and was surprised by how easy it was to do. Youtube will typically show you step by step instructions on how to do what you need to do. There are a lot of places to buy replacement parts online at a very reasonable price.
