I'm thinking this is one of those things like engine break in where there's two different schools of thought but really both are fine. I know people that do it both ways and nobody seems to actually have any problems from storage.

I don’t know. Do they ever make these in a size 13 ? I’m not a big shoe collecting guy, so I’m not even sure where to buy these. I’m just a big old school Simpson’s fan

I worried about that happening in HK during NYE when I went out one time.. it felt like it could happen at any moment and we were just lucky it didn't.
Being in a crowd so thick you can't control where you're going.. that's pretty much my worst nightmare. This kind of proves my nerves to be correct... RIP to all those kids

iirc it's called crowd crush. So many people pushing into each other that the force physically prevents you from being able to breathe and you die standing up.

This is pretty big global news. In Brazil, Bolsonaro lost as Lula (who lost to him 4 yrs ago), wins election. Lula won by 50.9% ... talk about a slim margin! Apparently, one of the issues at stake was the protection of the Amazon Rainforest which would have serious climate change consequences.

I, like many, are pretty NAcentric. Didn't realize how significant this election was/is.
I have some Brazilian friends, all of whom were required to go and vote even though they are living here in YVR. He explained that it's part of his citizenship requirement ... whatever you might think of that, I think there is merit. If anyone wants democracy, then do your duty and vote dammit! i know, I know ... that is irony, we want freedom which includes the freedom of not to vote.
