Calibration discs for HDTV
Anyone know where I can get locally DVE or AVIA or Spears & Munsil Bluray calibration discs?
All I found was on amazon.ca
Not sure how good these calibration discs are. avsforum and digitalhome seem to suggest AVIA or DVE.

Either disc is pretty good. Makes it easy to tune the tv by eye.
If you're super picky and want the best my buddy has the colorimeter and is trained to do it. Saves the trouble of the guesswork.
Can probably do it on the side for like $100. I think most places charge about $250 last time I checked. The main cost is the colorimeter. The pro grade one is like 5-8k. Just make sure you have about 100 hours of break in time before you calibrate though.
