Finally, McD figured out how to subtract the cup fee (for Vancouver) if you bring in your own mug. $1 coffee worked out to be like $0.95 ... I don't know how that works but no complaints.

They screwed up the chicken Mac..
Like 15 years ago we used to order this as a Big Mac sub the beef Pattie’s for mcchicken Pattie’s. Hardly anyone could ever figure it out but it tasted great
They very clearly cheaped out on this chicken Mac and created a Pattie that tastes like one thin nugget as opposed to just using the mcchicken Pattie’s :/
It’s not even as good as a regular Big Mac

enjoyed the beef bigmac way more than the chicken bigmac...

My little guy tripped in class today and smashed his orbital bone on the corner of his desk. The school nurse said his pupils weren’t dilating and said we should take him to see a doctor. Doc checks him out and says it shouldn’t be a concussion so we’re pleased by that.
I asked him if he wanted some McD’s to feel better and yep, he wanted some chicken nuggies. So I check the app and they aren’t part of any flyer deals but I do see we can get him a free McFlurry if we spend over $10 so FINE, I guess we’ll need the 20 piece.
They were the hottest, freshest nugs I’ve ever had and I used to work there! Crushed a bunch of em with habanero sauce. No ragrets.

I always take the McDonalds survey, print out the coupons and keep them in the car. Never know when it'll come in handy. Well, yesterday, I went to the Terminal location. Whipped out the coupon and was about to oder. Two people, caucasians (yeah in that location), were ahead of me and they had the coupons in hand. Anyway, when they got up to the till, the cashier looked a little surprised. Didn't know what to make of the coupon. She calls the manager over. Manager is like, "We can't take this. Do you have the original e-mail?" The two show their e-mail's on their phones. They complete their order and move off. I'm like, "Shit, my e-mail doesn't work." Girl goes, "What would you like?" I show her the coupon and she gives me the receipt. Cost me zero dollars. Free meal!
This has happened more than a few times at various locations. Reading comprehension fail. These are managers, ffs.
You're supposed to pay full price for a sandwich and you get free medium drink and fries. Sometimes they will give you upsize drinks and fries for whatever that costs. They punch in dipping sauce and do it that way.
Addendum: Forgot to mention. I tried their Mighty McMuffin this morning. It's not bad. A little expensive, but whatever.......... I have to try new stuff whenever they come out.

I ordered the Mighty McMuffin yesterday and was underwhelmed (expected something more than just a Sausage & Egg plus bacon). That plus a PSL from Starbucks (wtf $6 for a tall???) made for a very expensive breakfast.

Phew - for a second I thought you were gonna say that they don't offer the deal anymore!
Had that happen a few times, where they gave the meal for free. Except once I was stupid and corrected their mistake, and in doing so, they forgot to include my "no onions" request.
The "free meal" coupon used to arrive via email instantly, but now it takes a few hours. Now I have a PDF of the coupon on my computer and edit the expiry date as needed.
