But you can send the coins to an exchange like Binance to trade for alt coins there.

I’ve used Coinbase in the past without issues.
I’ve only heard they always go down when bitcoin price dramatically moves up or down so if you were looking to buy or sell during specific times, there could be issues

Well with btc breaking 30k USD mainstream attention is back again.
Shakepay and newton both seems to be buckling under the pressure again.
Having issue transfer to both these exchanges.
Does anybody else have broker recommendation besides these two?

I don't believe kraken lets canadian buy crypto with fiat?
Kraken seems great as a trading platform but I just need a way to buy btc quickly with fiat preferable with e-transfer

I’m still DCA with shakepay. No issues. Also had an issue with referral and they were pretty quick to reply and add the bonus to my account as well

They do, you can swift transfer from your bank, wire, Canada Post in person, etc, no interac etransfer tho, all fiat currencies you deposit are converted to CAD

I use blockfolio on my phone to track prices anything similar for Windows? I want to have a screen showing prices 24/7.

Ended up using blue stacks and emulating blockfolio X2. I can't believe there is no simple app to do this on windows.

Although there are different underlying fundamentals than the 2017 price spike, this rise can't be sustainable over a long term period. Too much mania over the past week. Bitcoin was rising all fall and nobody was really talking about it.

How did you contact Shakepay? I've got a e-transfer sitting undeposited by shake pay for a few days now. Email their support and all i got back is an automated email message asking me to rate their service.
Already tried cancelling and resend. How much do y'all send to shakepay to get instant deposit?
I used shakepay heavily before before btc hit 30k and my issue only seems to happen now.

I just use their support chat. They got back to me within 2 hours
They also mention that they had some issues with etransfers in January 4th and you can cancel and resending it

Did you upload photo ID and send a video. My first e transfer had no problems the second one needed me to be verified. It's done via the app. I had to try 2 different ID's because of covid hair.

Yes I have been using shakepay for at least a year now. IÂ’ve have numerous transfer that went through fine.
This issue literally happen the moment btc cross 31k or so. I now have three pending transfer that just wonÂ’t go thru and a tech support that keep sending me generic email asking for my feedback instead of actually helping......

Out of interest I just tried sending an etransfer to Shakepay and received an automatic email that they are having issues processing the transfer. I'm wondering if their systems are being inundated with requests and they can't handle it. Not good!
