Holy fuck. Just drove back home to Vancouver from Surrey. It's really coming down hard in Surrey, even the bridges and highways were covered in snow.  Scary drive.
Then once I made it onto Knight St. bridge, I was home free

looks like there was a slight dump out in ridge too but the skys have cleared again.. although there is still some snow in the air

Driving home last night was a bit 'fun'. Not because of the snow, but because the roads were super icey. I only drove home from the tricities to pitt meadows, but i was definitely glad to be home. I found out this morning, that some roads were closed for a while overnight because of the ice?

i guess it depends on what side of the spectrum you are.
im fairly confident in my driving, its just i dont trust other people on the road.
the further east you go, the more you got of "i got a 4x4, i can do anything... i got winter tires, i can stop on dime" attitude.
