anyone ever try to do any ghetto garage painting of their cars?
my wifes 2013 hyundai has clear coat failure only on the handles and duckbill spoiler.
kind of an eyesore so i wanted to try to respray them the ghetto way.
i heard that 2k paint/clear all in one spray cans could do the job fairly well, just have to sand the parts until smooth.
doesnt have to look like a million bucks, if it looks fairly good for 2-3 more years that's probably about as long as we would likely keep the car, and it would help it's resale value too or at least not deter people who don't like to see ugly failing paint.

If the clear didn’t eat through all the way you can probably get away wet sanding the existing clear and just spraying on a new clear. If the clear ate all the way through you might have to repaint the base coat and probably won’t have to do a primer coat.
I bought 2K Clear from Lordco and was lucky that CT had the red paint code as my car. I could have achieved better shine if I wet sanded the clear and polished it after. I’ve painted the grill and my front lip with this method on my old car. Lasted 3 years with no problem.

I was sitting on a bench on the third floor of Metrotown next to the huge atrium. The one where the displays are, when the alarms went off. Hilarious. And yes, even though I knew about it and warned people, I was caught off guard. Good thing I wasn't leaning over the railing, as I would have dropped my phone, gulolololol.
The sound of many phones going off together in unison was quite interesting (echo). Then, for some reason, there were some that went off not at the same time as others. Kind of like the retards who take a few seconds before the dedicated left turn signal goes on.
Speaking of retards, what's with these stupid people at the parking lots? Doing the, "Chinese refresh." Especially when it ties up traffic. Here I am behind a slew of vehicles, when this one loser attempts to park in a stall - multiple back and forth. The stalls aren't that narrow. I counted four refreshes to see him only moving over a few centimetres. Like what the fuck?????
At Willingdon Costco the other day, I was waiting for this one guy (young guido) doing the refresh. After the third attempt, I purposely boxed him in. This guy didn't even move the car over more than a few inches. And it's a fucking Costco stall. Extra wide for retards who shouldn't be driving. Then, there are those fuckers who park at an angle like they work at Mopac or something. /rant

People have no common sense, just fucking drive around and park somewhere else you don’t need to backup the entire entry traffic trying to park your stupid vehicle that can park itself ffs..
