Im guessing Carol and Daryl followed the car back to the Hospital, something went wrong, Carol got hurt, or maybe got in a fight with the cops and they took her. Daryl somehow came across the black kid (Chris?) who knows the layout of the hospital so he took him back to the Church to get everyone else and hes the one hiding in the bushes when Daryl came out talking to Michone.

they already sorta did the 28DL homage in the pilot...when rick was stumbling out of the hospital...what an epic start to the show.
This last episode, the pacing was really odd. One second everything is happening all at once and the next it's moving like molasses and it felt like a high school video project...not even worthy of college film student's work. Let's not forget the armless walker conveniently waking up to chomp on the male cop when he falls  At least the plot line is moving right along unlike most of season 2 trying to find sophia so can't complain too much  ..I also like the twlight effect when Beth stepped out of the hospital.

i think the timing was just convenient, she had gone in there to kill herself and turn to kill the head female cop. based on the timing of her killing herself (very recent), by time the bad cop was in there, she was turning (beth notices her finger twitching) - yes, very convenient, but it's not like she was dormant as a walker and then suddenly realized what was going on, beth timed it based on the convenient situation.
believable? not likely, but this is a zombie show afterall

Generally I'm pretty shit at seeing things before they happen in shows but to me it just seemed obvious that the cure wasn't with this guy. I probably just know too many bullshit mullet wearing hics up here in northern alberta to believe anything those types say.
