I'm amazed there was no repercussions for Chicago with the sexual assault case.
Arizona lost a first and second rounder for talking to draftees early. Meanwhile Chicago covers up sexual assault for over a decade and gets Bedard a year after the news first surfaces.
Really? I didn't expect to get Bedard, but Chicago going first is just too convenient. No draft picks moved up except for Chicago.

Yeah, I read they invite media during the actual lotto and it's audited by an outside accounting firm, so it's pretty legit.
We just like saying it's rigged because it's easier to blame the NHL than to face reality, lol.

Every team in the draft has a rep there who watches the ping pong balls do their thing. Pretty sure some 3rd party firm is there to ensure legality as well.
