Rooting for the Devils because of Kovalchuk of all people.
I've never even followed the player, but he literally proved everyone wrong when they labeled him a selfish player for pretty much his entire career. To be honest, I thought his play style and contract would destroy the Devils, but wow, what a turn around they had.

Ferraro had high praise this morning for Kovy as well. Said he's a fierce competitor who told everyone he would come out on top as the best Russian in the NHL when Ovie was a big deal. Can't teach someone to have the drive to be the best, either you have it or you don't.

Money is on the Kings, but I hope the Devils win.
For the exception of Mike Smith, the Kings haven't played a team with a goalie that can play the puck as well as Broduer. He could dictate the style the Kings play when entering the zone. They may no longer have the option of dumping it in and making the dmen pay with punishing hits. Who knows...

Even tho its Bruins news, I thought this was neat, couple days ago, they traded for Ray Bourque's son Chris. AHL superstar, but if he can make the Bruins next season, be neat to see another Bourque in a Bruins jersey

I saw this coming for awhile. I originally figured they would draft him when he was eligible but this move is pretty classy. They really had no reason to grab him besides the fact hes Ray's son.
