The commentary is really talking up Cruz, but to me he's not doing much of anything offensively. He's doing a good job of being elusive and got a few takedowns that went nowhere, but what is he doing to win?

You're not wrong... I usually don't argue about really close rounds putting the decision one way or the other... But this fight didn't really have any rounds like that.
This was really an insane decision. Judges must have been paying more attention to the misses than the hits.

I like to read the mmajunkie fighter tweets after fights. Looked like the first 3 rounds were fairly split between Cruz and tj. Without Re watching the 1st, I'd say it's not a robbery as Cruz won 2 and 3 and 1 could gone either way. It's weird how judges can have it 49/46 and 46/49 tho
In other news, after Eddies comment in his post fight I looked it up and the only guy he's fought since 2010 that hasn't been a champ was cowboy. And his only other loss was against Michael Chandler for the belt, which he won the rematch a year later.

I saw it as a Cruz win but was close 3-2. Surprised TJ kept trying to throw big shots early on when they kept missing. Hopefully with the loss it will mean Urijah vs. TJ.
