They are talking about sushi in japan, what other term would they use? If its including teriyaki and tempuras, thats just japanese cuisine.
True foodies will say japanese food or sushi.

HK French toast is different than any others. It is more of a french toast sandwich with peanut butter or kaya jam on the inside. Yum
