Unless she has a couple benzes and bimmers parked out front that OP can destroy, he won't be able to destroy his money's worth.
School in the states is super expensive, grad school even moreso. Sounds like she was living the student loan dream, taking out more than what she needed so that she could have the latest apple products for taking notes in class.
Get her to take out a huge life insurance policy with you as the sole beneficiary .... I have a few contacts in the states ... let me know ...
