If you 'stroke' the screwdriver in one direction (e.g. shaft to tip) along a magnet it will temporarily magnetize it for a few days. Works well enough for light-duty work (e.g. electronics, computers, motorized toys, etc.)

Lordco sells them but they're expensive. I'd check amazon.ca if you can wait and don't want to go to the states.
