I've noticed that the quality of the HD on PPV games is pretty game. Well worth the extra money compared to the SD feed.

I hate how most bars and pubs have huge expensive LCD or Plasma TVs but then cheap out on PPV nights by buying the standard def feed.

I don't think bars and pubs are allowed to just purchase a single game for $15.95 and show it, I think they have to pay way more. I remember the scroll they use to show when Canucks PPV first came out warning bars and pubs not to show games unless the game was purchased under whatever package/pricing they have for bars, pubs and restaurants.

Yup, bars/pubs/restaurants have different ppv fee schedules if they want to show an event. For the SD feeds, its usually between $1000 to $4000 depending on the size of the venue.
