Does the mp3 play on moonshell while the ds is closed? or do you have to keep it open?

yes, it plays closed, but you can't lock the L/R keys (or at least I haven't figured out how)

It should work, as long as you use the settings on the settings page - Restart: NO / Trim: Y / Faster Game Play: Y
I don't have any version of SC anymore so I can't test this for myself...
But if it didn't work at all, or it had some sort of problem, this page would list it as such.

anyone have issues w/ the supercard lite and their flashed ds? half of my friends games are failing and hes definitely converting them properly.

Flashing doesn't cause the Supercard Lite to not load games.
All it is a third-party firmware copy of Nintendo's with code that allows firmware rewriting incase of a bad homebrew/ROM that deletes your DS' firmware + an extra line of code that boots up your flash cart.

What are all these sizes for the games and homebrews like Mbit, MBit, Gbit, and GBit? what are the difference and how do they compare to GB and MB?

NDS/GBA games are in BITS
Computer files are in BYTES
8BITS = 1BYTE

Some games that are bigger will be distributed in more than one DS card.

3 friends and i bought modded ds lites about a month ago. 3 of them are SCL and mine is ezflash4. mine has no problems running games, and neither do the two other guys who use SCL and superkey. the one guy who has a flashed ds w/ SCL can only run ~50% of games. what other factors might affect this? maybe a different SCL version or something? any insight is appreciated
