I found the balance to be normal, but sometimes 5.1 comes out of a stereo setup funny.

I download the HD rip of everything I actually want to watch...like Top Gear, No Reservations, Walking Dead, etc. Streams and shit are for sitcoms and reality TV.
I think it's a waste to watch some of the best cinematography on TV in blurry standard def just like I wouldn't bother watching football in anything but a massive HD screen.
