Red is the best colour, a bigger target is obviously physically easier to hit (easier to get a bead quickly on an elephant, takes a bit longer to draw down on a deer...the bullet hits them both at the same time) and the 60 distance readings are taken in 1/3 of a second....a constant.
As far as being a smartass goes....my wife tells me mine is disappearing the older I get. She calls it "old guy ass"
