paradiso seems so expensive now especially with the canadian dollar being so low.. but i would consider going back for the 3rd time as long as the line up is good  i havent gone to any big events since ......... i cant even remember anymore haha

I don't see how that makes sense though. Dooms lineup was stacked (AND on Halloweens night) and it was only $120 all in for tier 1.
Considering this isn't on any high demand days, I don't see this going over $105 for tier 1.

Sorry but I don't agree. Solid NYE lineup was very "meh", DVBBS, DEORRO, TRITONAL, HEADHUNTERZ. Contact on the other hand had a solid lineup, Hardwell, A&B, Oliver Heldens, etc.
A lot of people bought Contact, but didn't have the money or didn't want to spend the money for a mediocre NYE lineup.

I always thought Solid NYE in general had a bad turn out because of Contact being days before 
I don't know about you but I'm guessing most people (myself included) would rather drink with friends on NYE than be at a rave. Also add the fact people don't have/wouldn't spend the money for Solid NYE like rageguy mentioned.
