Anyone knows if the Nexus lanes at YVR are still open? I might have to travel and are hearing stories of 3-5hr wait time at YVR.
Just wondering how bad it actually is.

All the photos I've seen of YVR show it as a ghost town, and there are so few flights coming and going, I would never guess there is a 3-5 hour wait. Where are you seeing that?

Flights back to Asia. 
I don't think there are many people flying per see. It's just the social distancing requirement making havoc when people start going through securities.

only AC is flying to China right now (at lesat that's what my china friend is saying)

Anyone renew their Nexus?
I applied for renewal online yesterday, and I received my approval today!
No mention at all to go into any office for photos. Is that part skipped now???

Interviews for Nexus renewals are at complete random so you may be one of the lucky ones who doesn't need to go through one

The feels...I renewed Nexus in October 2019 and still pending. If my Nexus expires before the renewal, not sure what will happen. 
Update: I just got my renewal approved! Whoo.

Yeah same, wife and I received a new card probably in a few weeks of renewing no interview? We have to take the kid in to get a new photo though, can't get him in until October.

They extended the card use to one year after expiry so not a big deal

Was looking into updating some personal info for my Nexus and came upon this info regarding all the closures.

NEXUS and U.S./Canada FAST members who submitted an application for membership renewal prior to the expiry date on the card will maintain their membership for 18 months beyond the expiry date.
Temporary lane closures at NEXUS land ports of entry have been implemented until further notice.

I just applied for my first renewal and I'm so wondering how long it will take for approval and if I need to go for another interview. I guess I will find out soon. My card doesn't expire until March but I thought I should get it out of the way now before I forget. I just hope my ex didn't get one of her friends to flag me since it was a horrible break up since she's a crazy CBSA officer bitch LOL
