It's quite dumb how some of the sneaker news sites name shoes that only have bearing to the shoe after it was released.
It's not directed at you dartchilli. It seems that you're quite new to collecting since you can't even tell what the actual Jordan VIII is and you're just doing your research via these sneaker sites.
But names such as the Bugs Bunny 8, Raptor 7, He got Game 13's. These shoes weren't called as such when they first released.
Next thing you know, Disney makes a full length Mickey Mouse flick and it is drawn with Jordan White Cement 3's. On the next release of the white cements, people will be calling it Mickey Mouse 3's.

Yup. I'm new to the shoe game, but owned two pairs of the original Jordan 13s when I was a little kid. It was black/white (regular season, home), and black/black (playoffs, home).
The term He got Game was new to me when I looked at the 2013 release dates. I wonder how many of us are buying these Jordans because we grew up with it, or just buying because it's the "cool" thing to have.
I still have my original Jordan 13 in size 5.5Y. My mom rocks them for walks around the park.

fuck..these look similar to the 8. It's only recently in which i started looking more into the Jordan game. I knew about the 11 releases as those were my favorite and I own all 3 of them. Aside from that, I know what 3,4,5 and 12,13 and 14 look like cuz i've had them as a child.

The Jordan 11 has more than 3 colorways.
I personally think the nicknames are stupid. He got game. Bugs bunny. Hell I think BREDS is stupid. Just call them the black red! The only nickname I can accept are the space jams.

I got them for $200! The guy said he tried them on in the garage. The sole on one of the shoe was dirty but after a few scrubs with a brush and washer detergent it's like DS!

^ i had it... sold it off cause the sizing was messed up, need 8.5 if your a size 9
People who had the AJ1 & AJ1 Knicks did y'all size down 0.5 in size for them? Gonna get my Royal Blue's next week.
