I was watching Mr. In Between and I saw you Jason:
This character is named Gary and he lives in the main characters garage at some point because his wife kicked him out of the house for multiple reasons including being a deadbeat and his peepee porn collection, she became a lesbian and, in this scene, he’s arguing with some elementary school children about climate change.
He also started a business filming porn videos for couples who want to film themselves.

Sadly this character and Jason is just a very common Gen-X archetype of seemingly pretty successful guy who goes down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories and loses their entire life over it. I mean Trump basically won because of unresolved Gen-X angst, not the oft blamed Boomers. Starting to bleed over into the older millennial generation as well. My Facebook feed is basically a running inventory of bullets dodged by not keeping in touch with people you used to know
