harsh steady winds and 4 or 5 C temps at Riverway yesterday,though the conditions yesterday barely affected my scores. never been hitting the ball better in my last 1/2 dozen rounds..

I was at Morgan Creek on Tuesday, they had frost in the morning so everyone teed off at 10th and pushed back about 15 minutes or so. Teed off at 1pm and managed to get 16 holes in.

Ridge course @ North View this Saturday @ 9:50am for $10!

and the frost season is hard upon us! here's the golf course at around 9am, sunday(yesterday):



and just after 10, it was gone:



i got sent out just before 11, which left plenty of light before we got to the last hole around 3.

Had a hard time inserting the tee into the tee box on Saturday. Got sent out at around 11.

Pins still on the greens at Riverway?

Went to play Nico Wynd the other day, first hole is a par 5. Drive, hit second from a spot where I couldn't see green and walk to my third and notice the flag is in the fairway some 20 yards in front of the green.

Picked up my ball, walked back to the club house and got a refund.. you would think they would tell you..

Riverway doesn't do temps. And yes, they're assholes if they don't tell you about temps. Fraserview is bad for that too.

Played Nico Wynd last week, Delta on the weekend, playing Northview Canal again Saturday. Baby due in less than two weeks so I'm getting out while I can lol

Hey everyone,

Where is reasonably priced golf around Vancouver right now?
I've dusted off the old clubs and want to get back into the game.

Went to Mylora on Sidaway today and hated it. It was way too noisy from the cars and totally killed the atmosphere. Still enjoyed myself, but won't be going back there.

I shoot around 100 on a full length course. I don't mind executives. My budget is around $25-30.

What courses are around those prices right now?

It's so nice out, but all the courses near me are still mud pits this time of the year. Hoping they'll be good to go in late-March/early-April.

Played Northview Canal yesterday. Pretty soft out there, especially around the greens. Had several Tigeresque chips where I only advanced the ball 10 yards or so. Bad day for the short game. Fairways were fine. Greens slow for Northview, but price was right.

Teed off at 1:15, finished the round and it was ~$40 with a power cart.
