been helping out my friend with her school project, had to look for some fresh new material. in case you're interested, here's the project - http://webrokethephone.tumblr.com/. It's a visual telephone game where we respond to each others pictures.
Anyways..
"macro" with the Sigma 24 1.8. Wide open.
to show the scale and how much "macro" this wide lens can do.
w/ pentax 50 1.4

Sorry, "wrong" may have been the err...wrong word.
...but why wouldn't you go out shooting in the rain? That's when you can capture some great images.  I used to shoot in the rain whenever I could, but I haven't had the time lately.

no, University. that's $500 in Gore Tex i'm wearing(jacket/pants), i could go scuba diving in it. i wear it on photo walks too. i highly recommend a set up like that for shooting in Vancouver, cameras or golf balls.

Thanks man.
I used full manual to control the exposure myself. I set ISO low, steady tripod, set aperture at f8. (the sharpest for my lens) then control the shutter speed until it's good.
Touch it a up a little in photoshop, and voila.
