im shopping in montreal and saw that their beef prices are significantly lower than vancouver. AAA 3 rib prime rib and its only 45dollars!? isnt our 3 rib prime rib like 70+++!?!?!?

Umm one minor correction, Lula didn't lose to Bolsonaro. He served 2 full terms. His successor Dilma Rousseff was impeached from office after during her term due to corruption. The VP took over and he was defeated by Bolso. The end of Lula's (2010) and start of Bolso's (2019) terms were almost a decade apart.

Yep, just paid $27 at Whole Foods for 400g of rib eye. I think Costco runs about $25 for 600g of rib eye.

Looking for places to get away once or twice in the winter when it's wet and rainy here. Ideally somewhere tropic but I just wanna wfh somewhere warmer and nicer weather.
Budget is around $2,000 - 3,000 all-in for ideally 4 to 7 nights or longer for two peeps. Could make this 4 to 6 peeps if it's more economical.
Any suggestions?

India wouldn't make much sense for a 4-7 night trip. You'll be on a plane a third of the trip there.
I'd suggest popping down to Mexico or Hawaii if you're going for such a short duration. Puerto Vallarta is a quick 6 hour flight, Cabo/La Paz similar.
Hawaii -- same thing, quick 5 hour flight.
Unless you're going for a minimum of 2 weeks, I'd never bother considering anything in Asia, not worth the time sitting on a plane both ways.
