and the last of my shots from Peachland. it was pretty tough getting up at 5am after a night of drinking and a day of boating and tubing, and more drinking.
one day i will get a nice detailed shot of these Turkey Vultures, but they like to stay high in the thermals:

and everytime i saw some Quail, they were of course in the shade. bastards :
my favourite Marmot, and pretty sure he got more used to me everyday. this was from the last day:

First attempt at taking photos of the bald eagle and red tailed hawk families that live on our property. They haven't come too close to the house in a while so this was zoomed in all the way on the 18-200mm.

Yeah, you guys are most likely right. There were a few different species of birds of prey circling the field next to ours, and I guess the best photo I got was of that. Didn't even stop to think about the fact that it wasn't actually what I was originally aiming for.
