So, I actually played around a bit on LR5. I think I came sorta close to it. 
I think I need to get rid a bit of vibrance to lower that dominance of red. But whenever I do that, it messed up with the background. I played around with the curve a bit, but then the red looks kinda unnatural.... I dunno. I will keep on trying tomorrow.

That's a hell of a hike carrying that camera! Well worth it though!
Edit: On second thought, that's the Toyo Carbon 4x5 camera, isn't it? It's a very light camera.

It is a Toyo and it was lighter than my 6d/grip/24-70L that I brought, but he brought around 10 backs and a CF tripod. I was going to bring my Pentax 67 and a tripod as well, but instead I took the Canon and a stylus epic with a roll of Velvia 50.

Sunny, that is a cool picture and I'd like to take something like that. I personally think that there is too much negative space, I don't find those clouds are that interesting. Takes away from the image. Great idea, would prefer a different execution. Cheers!
