So didja buy the 1D? The thing I've noticed about photos from that camera is that they are always very very sharp. I'm not sure if that's a testament to its fast and accurate AF or if it's something to do with the processor itself.

I didn't get the 1D, lost83 did. I've been messing w/ his. I'm suppose to be receiving an XT later this week so we'll see how long I hang on to that for. I've used dub.dub's xt and it's not bad w/ the grip but still not like my 10D (interface wise and feel).

try not to blow out the background
if possible do two exposures and you can merge them in PS
the last one looks too noisey
