He immediately ran up and forechecked the pointmen and forced him out the blueline.
Typical Canuck PK, back up, go inside box formation. Here, pointman, take your time to blast that puck toward the net. Infact, we'll even screen our goalie for you.

Seriously, even if the refs gave Canucks that goal, they would probably feel bad, and just give Burrows a phantom penalty. And you know that's auto goal. So doesn't really matter.
Score would still be 5-3 as is.
