You guys will probably get in. Theres still the kids who drop within the first few days. I found it actually moves quicker now that class is about to start.

Quick question guys, should I take the risk and stay on the waitlist for my STATS 2225 course (9th on waitlist) since people will probably drop it, or should I just accept my offer to a crappier professor?

^The waitlists for online courses will cease tomorrow, so I think you'd better contact your instructor and tell him/her your situation (you really want into his/her class cause nothing else fits your schedule etc etc..).. Good luck

For all online courses or only that section (WA1) as indicated..
"Online (Section WA1) Courses
The waitlist system for these sections will cease on January 3, 2012. If you are waitlisted for a section WA1 (online) course on this date, you should contact the instructor on the first day of classes, January 4, 2012."

Does anyone know if they send you another offer to register if youre waitlisted in the same course but different section?
I got an offer for a course but its not my ideal time slot. But Im 2nd in line for the waitlist on the same course but different section, which is ideal for schedule.
Im just wondering if they would send out a offer (if at all, since Im registered in the same course) to register before my first one expires. Thanks

I'm amazed at the fact that it's so difficult getting into courses for first year courses.
My sister and several friends (no, no pics) registered within minutes of their registration time but have only gotten into one or two courses at best. They're waitlisted for all the others.
I've no idea what the issue is... too many new students? Too many veterans? Whatever it is, Langara really needs to sort it out.
Too many people I know are being held back from full-time studies when that is what they are trying to do... by no fault of their own.
