also saw one on westbound gaglardi offramp hwy 1- about 4-5police cars and lots of people pulled over 3:30-4pm

tonight there was a cop hiding in the corner along Chancellor Blvd heading into UBC near Wesbrook. sneaky, his car was behind the bushes.

I frequently see them around since it's around my neighbourhood
1. Northbound royal oak, going DOWN the hill (very easy to speed on) they'd usually park their cruisers in the little lot near the bottom of the hill where people would access deer lake from, and try to ding people from the side of the road as they are headed down the hill.
2. Southbound boundary, past Imperial/49th. Another down hill that cops loves to hide in this little taxi stop on the side, at the bottom of the hill, with their radars pointed at the Southbound traffic, careful! Because it's extremely hard to see as the road is kind of curved and the sides got bushes, so by the time you see them they would've gotten your speed already.
3. (This is not a speed trap) however it is a very common check point that they like to set up a roadblock at usually over the weekend from 12AM-2AM. It's right between Royal Oak and Gilley Ave on Oakland, there is sort of a S curve through Oakland, in between those two streets, be warned that they are in the middle of the S curve, so by the time you see them they will have seen you, and since both sides of the streets are single lane without any side streets to turn into, so can't really avoid it once you've seen it!

Seatbelt/Cellphone check northbound on 120th Scott Rd at 72nd St in Surrey right now. Guy in a military green jacket is cruzing up and down at the light.
