Yeah the first one was a multi-day thing!

Yeah that's typically how it goes. With our first, my wife was in labor for north of 46 hours. Second was out in under an hour.

Takes too long for the epidural to kick in with shorter labours.
It can extend labour to a certain extent, as it dulls the urge to push as you feel it less, per what I was told by the docs.
Wife asked for one with the second. Docs politely let her know it'd kick in after the kid was out. We got to the hospital during the 2nd q during a Superbowl. Kid was born during halftime/3q.
The delivery doc actually came in saying, "Alright, halftime! Let's deliver the baby and get back to the game, lol!" I quietly got a score update from him in between a wave of contractions.

Work is moving offices - do you guys know if schools will want binders? They're in pretty good condition, it'd be good for underprivileged kids or folks that are struggling to buy school supplies.
Or hell even some of you hella underpaid teachers, I'd be more than happy to donate it to a teacher and you can distribute as you see fit.

Should get into teaching, they're in and out between 8:30AM and 4PM maxing out at $69 - 109K a year working 8-9 months a year. Jealous of their 2 month vacays in summer. Though most teach summer school to boost income.

teachers do a lot of work outside their typical hours as well. my friend who is a teacher and loves to teach would often spend a lot of his free time making lessons and that sort of thing, not to mention grading and all sorts of extra hours doing other things. i would only teach if it was a passion, definitely not for the money and time off.

I've done some teaching in the past, but in a military (cadet) setting. Aka I just yell at the kids like a drill sgt. Caring about kids so that they dont cry over getting a C ain't for me. or whatever snowflake ass grading system they use now.
