No, are you kidding me? Edler is a great defensemen. Great puck mover, great point shot, great hitter. I wouldn't doubt for a second that 29 other clubs would love for us to make a mistake of letting this guy go.
What's wrong is our coaching staff. Our play. It's so undynamic. It's worked for so long that it in the end its starting to hurt us instead of help as we've gotten predictable.
Opposing teams scouting can spot who to pressure on the breakout, and which passing lanes to pinch to force our defensive mistakes.
