My family is quite traditional in this kind of things. We net zero almost every year. Probably a few hundred difference here and there. But big red envelope is a thing for some families.
We have used these before. USD fits up to about 20k.

Mark Carney and his entourage went for dimsum at continental seafood… not my first pick and he gave out red envelopes! But it was chocolate inside or else PP will say he’s bribing for votes. Is it bad feng shui to give out chocolate instead of money?

Now that Floata is gone I think Continental is the next biggest dim sum place? Maybe the Main Street Sun Sui Wah or Pink Pearl is similar?
I saw he hung out at my White Spot for the women's gold medal game too. For a banker Carney knows how to play retail politics really, really well - maybe it's heavily stage managed (doesn't seem like it) but imagine PP catching a game at Boston Pizza and not being a total douche.
