1) what the heck did US win?
2) what war has US won in any middle east?

The new Iranian supreme leader Mojtaba Khamanei in my opinion will take this war to another level. This war is personal to him and his family.
The U.S. military under Cheeto's orders killed the new leader's father.
Although Iran's military suffered large amounts of damage to their infrastructure, I don't think that Khamanei Jr. is weakened in any way.
In fact, he is even more motivated to avenge his father's death.
The new leader has a personal score to settle with Cheeto and to defend his country.
Like what Traum mentioned in one of his previous posts, Trumpty Dumpty just opened a big can of worms.
Maybe the Iranians will make him take even bigger dumps in his diapers in the future with more attacks on the U.S. military and perhaps industrial targets?

I have no idea what Iran would actually do, but if I were their Supreme Leader, I would:
1) allow oil tanker traffic destined to Russia and China (although Russia may not need to import any ME oil at all)
2) offer to not attack any oil tankers not destined for the US / Israel, or by oil tankers operated by US / Israeli companies, in exchange for the diplomatic promise that these countries will not support the Israeli-US military action on Iran in any way
3) continue to attack oil tankers destined for the US / Israel, or tankers operated by US / Israeli companies
Then maybe somehow they can use this policy to drive a wedge between US and other western countries, and over time use this as leverage to steer the US into some sort of cease fire negotiations?

That's what they'll probably do, they have a million Revolutionary guard all loyal to the Regime and will fight to the last man, Trump has greatly underestimated them IMO. You aren't getting regime change without a ground invasion and even with that you probably aren't getting it. The US is in there with no plan, what probably happens is US tries to declare victory and leaves with it's tail between its leg but unfortunately for them Iran has a say in when this thing ends now.
