Nice although a bit hard to read with the old english lettering. Could just be the pics though. Lots of times adding color taints the look of a sweet tattoo its hard to decide what to fill and not to fill. Sounds like you did just enough to break the monotony. That part of the arm with the lettering doesn't tickle lol. When he was doing that part on my arm I felt it in my ribcage... damn nerves lol.

anything is better than in vietnam. Some of the tattoos look like they have been put on my permanent markers. I cant find a good place in this entire country.
If you want a simple tribal pattern here then it is ok but I wouldnt trust anybody with shading and difficult designs.

Yeah the artists in HK aren't THAT great either. Some are OK, but then you have the issue of cleanliness. The one I linked to is from UK, and are very clean, and as you can see from the gallery, pretty good at a wide variety of styles.

yea I checked out the website. Looks pretty good. Ive already sent them a msg about doing some work for me when i visit hk. hopefully they can do up a drawing with pics i send them before i arrive.

Hopefully! But most artists won't start drawing until they some cash in their hand as a deposit. Otherwise it's a waste of time doing a custom drawing for someone who may or may not show up (for whatever reason)
