Mt. Baker, Big White, Whistler
Planning on booking a snowboard trip for around 2-3 nights in one of the places mentioned in the title. We're planning to go right before spring semester so early january is the ideal time.
We're kind of worried that Whistler might be too packed during this time. Thoughts?
Which would you guys reccomend?

Whistler will have absurd prices at that time, and packed becasue of holidays.
Baker it's won't be ski in or out because there's no where to stay.
Big White is your best bet, less expensive than Whistler but it is still the priciest time to go.

I have always enjoyed Big White's runs and snow to be much better than the crowded Whistler/Blackcomb trails.
Kicking Horse is the best though.

Big White is awesome, prices reasonable, and much more to do than JUST snowboard/ski
they have snow tubing there with one really straight run and one wavy run, that was sweet

Whistler and Blackcomb are VERY large mountains. I never find it to be "too crowded"
If you haven't been to Big White, GO! Worth the drive.. and the champagne powder..

Silverstar also has the same light powder that Big White has. I love it up there.
