Website to send free txt msg wanted
If there a website online where you can type in and send a text message to any cell phone(in vancouver)? I know rogers.com use to have that but not anymore. I tried one to myself it came up looking like junk mail on my cell.
There are lots online but id like to find a trusted one that one of you may have used.

Are you looking to send to a specific carrier? I know fido.ca has one for it's customers. Not sure if there's a universal one out there that won't also spam the person.

rogers still has it... every service provider in canada has it.... just google "rogers send a text" or "telus send a text" and you can easily do it :P, i always do it with rogers....

Rogers now requires you to "sign in" with an account first. Previously, you could send a text message from their website without having to do that. I understand that this is a security feature, but not everybody wants to be bothered by this.

Actually I really like having an account for the rogers text because instead of having to memorize everybody's cell number, you just need to create a contact.
