If you MUST use IE, then I'd suggest a reinstall. Any more work on this is going to probably involve someone actually looking at it than over a forum diagnosis.
Otherwise, use a different browser like Firefox, Chrome, etc.

I downloaded Firefox right after IE stopped working and Firefox doesn't work either. I don't absolutely have to use IE, but i can't connect using limewire.
