im so freaking pump that im listening team 1040 and surfin on Canucks.com on my computer... i dont think i can keep my butt on the chair at work tomorrow !!!! and the first thing i will do after work is to grab a 18 pack booze !!!!!!!! Will be wearing my jersey to work tomorrow !!! im looking forward to see our 2nd line... ryan, sergei and mikael.... regular season is finally here, and i really dont know how to express my passion other than use a bigger front to post on this thread

I don't really consider that because we had only 1 real line and Cloutier. This year feels different since we have Lu a great D and 3 full good lines.
For one time in years we have a complete team (right now anyways  )

The biggest indicator I saw of how unpopular hockey is... I just had a friend go to a Dallas Cowboys game recently at the new stadium and check this out (nevermind the multiple hundreds of dollars for a ticket):
Parking: $75
Large Pizza: $60
Strangely enough beer is only $5 though... go figure. Lord help you if you don't carpool and are hungry though LOL!
If only hockey could get that kind of exposure... I mean, personally, I hope we never see prices like that, but it's just awesome how much power the NFL has in comparison.

That new Dallas arena...a $28 ticket gets you in the stadium standing room only, watching the game on a tv...NFL is a different beast...you wait one week until your team plays again...one week of marketing for that one game...NHL will never be like that...

Yah, well hockey is a arena sport so it's basically the NHL vs. the NBA when it comes to comparing numbers. I posted some #'s last year in the Canucks thread and the NHL was actually doing better in some markets compared to the NHL.
