It's frickin' awesome, but it took a while to shoot with a rangefinder again. We were also lent the new 37.5MP medium format Leica S2 DSLR for the night. That thing is out of this world good.

Leica S2 + 70mm f2.5 Summarit-S, smaller than a 1DsmkIII with almost twice the resolution, and the files are much cleaner than anything I've seen.
1.5sec, f5.7, 1250 ISO, 70mm Summarit-S70 lens, unprocessed, as opened in Lightroom 2.6.
100% crop from the centre. The frame is sharp corner to corner. Amazing.

8 sec, f4, 160 ISO
100% crop. This lens is also a sharpness champ across the frame, corner to corner.

Figures you'd notice something like that...haha. The M9 body is $7500 CDN, and the 28mm f2.8 lens is $2100 CDN. The S2 is $31,000 CDN, and the 70mm lens is $4900 CDN.

shiiiieeeet! pricey! but its like buying a ferrari, if you can afford one you wont care for the price. damn thats a sexy camera. Have you tried night time at F22?
edit: Any news on the S2? for that price i'd be looking at hasselblads AND have money left over, but that's just me.

I had to give it back, but the rep is going to lend it to me again sometime.
If you're a commercial shooter who is mobile, I'd get the S2 over a bulky Hasselblad or Phase One. The Leica lens is most definately better than the Hasselblad 80mm. We shot the S2 alongside a 50MP Hasselblad, and the Leica wiped the floor with the Hassy. To be fair, our Hasselblad lens might be a bit faulty.
