New Desktop with OLD TV - HTPC
If I have a Desktop with VGA out and HDMI out
and I have an OLD TV
what is the best /cheapest way to get the output of the desktop to the TV?
is there a cheap way at all to have the output to this old tv?
The old TV has S-video and the Regular RCA Yellow Coax input
Thinking to create an HTPC, but I only have an old TV :P
any recomendation what Software and Remote would be nice too ..
Thank you

You need a VGA to S-Video/Composite adapter thing, like this:
USB Powered VGA to Composite + S-Video Converter Box (1280*1024px Max)
Look around. There's a lot of different ones out there.
As long as the TV has some sort of input, you can output your computer's video to it. I did that with my parents' late 80s Zenith (the 'wood' box ones).
