just watched HBO pengs/caps..
after watching it, I feel bad for the caps players for their losing streak.
I kinda want them to heat up and go on a winning steak.
cause technically they don't really affect the canucks since they are in the other conference, and they will for sure make it to the playoff.

Ya.. poor poor Caps. How do they stand a chance? Talk about a bunch of no-talent hacks.
We lost 10 in a row (IIRC) and turned out okay. Teams go through slumps, and the Caps are just way too talented to not overcome this. As much as I'm not a fan of Ovy as a person, you have to respect the fact that he's a one man wrecking crew and I don't see the beast being tamed much longer. Especially with the group around him.

He's at a turning point in his career right now.
The guy has a formidable collection of individual awards but has no Championship Cup to show for; this he alluded to in an interview that no matter how good he thinks he is, Sid & Geno has got the best of him just for this sole reason (pardon me that I can't find that interview - I tried). He can score 60 goals - be the gamebreaker because of it every now and then, but in the bigger picture will not get him down the mile.
The guy is just lost that's all. After the 1st round loss on their best season yet, he knows things have to change. Imagine having to turn your world upside down because they way you live, the way you play your game needs an overhaul. That's where OV is now, and that's where Caps are in general.
(At least this is what I gather from OV interviews and HBO's 24/7)
