Poor Italian Trattoria and Ristorante - Service 0/10, food ??
So I read reviews about this place on opentable and it seemed to be alright, made a reservation and went to the restaurant on time(615). Arrived and the restaurant wasn't full, maybe 60% capacity. Hostess greets us, who I thought was a customer because she was in street clothes and seemed like she was going outside for a smoke. We were sat down immediately. Then came the worse part, within the next 10 minutes, not a single waitress or waiter or anyone came to the table for water or any service, at the 13 minute mark I said fuck it and we walked. I gave a chance for every single staff to walk by at least once but none of them acknowledged us. Mind you I'm not a picky person nor have I ever done this.
Went to BT Cafe for dinner instead. 9/10
Service was great as usual. Girl got black pepper lamb and rice, it was cooked a little less than she wanted, but it was flavorful and tender. I got baked seafood with coconut on rice, came with plenty of squid, shrimp(big ones not small) and fish. Come home completely satisfied

I tried BT cafe last weekend. IMO, it's not that great but the portions are huge for $7. I had seafood curry which came with a creamy soup.
Maybe I should have order something else, my experience is 6/10. Plenty of better cafe places in Richmond.

The service was quick and attentive and there was one very cute waitress. I will definitely return to try out their Linguine fettuccine. I don't know what's wrong with other people when they came here, they all came out disappointed but I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. I guess some of you have got to get your taste buds checked out.

Happy Sushi for AYCE lunch
Haven't done AYCE in a long time but everybody else wanted to go. They were able to accomodate 14 of us so thats a plus. Food was okay by all accounts and everybody left happy (no pun intended)

I ate at this Chinese Buffet 9/10 ( forgot name) where Richmond Hon's used to be. I went in for the breakfast buffet $4ish. There was was a decent selection, and for the price I could not complain about the quality.

Big portions and tasty dim sum. The place is crowded and loud, the staff is pushy, just my kinda joint!

It was called King's buffet right? And $4 for a breakfast buffet? That's ridiculous!

It is $4 something +tax..so $5 There was the usual Chinese fried rice, Chow Mein, sausages, egg(boiled), omelets, tater tots, spring rolls, soup(Chinese), steamed buns(the kind with meat in it), salad/fruit bar, etc. There was also desert, which included ice cream, cake, cookies, jello, etc. There is tea, coffee, and hot soy milk. I would choose this over Bons for a cheap meal lol.

Neptune Seafood Restaurant for Dim Sum. 7.5/10. Went in the afternoon time, couldn't take advantage of their morning discount. Still decent, that I enjoy going.

89 Inn Restaurant, Fraser St.
Overall, it scores a 7/10 because almost everything was nothing special. The place was nice and clean though (except for the water they served. Looked a tiny bit musty. Haha), with lots of choices on the menu. Plus all the items were generally priced surprisingly low.
Individually, I would give their Katsu-Don a 10/10 though. It was the best I've had in a long long time.
