Any player who contributes to the scourge of headshots in the NHL should be disciplined. Unfortunately this time the league got the wrong man. Eberle caused this to happen with a stupid, irresponsible play. Torres should not be accountable for Eberle's mistake. You turn your back, skate up the middle with your head down, reach low for a puck in traffic or admire your pass...you are part of the problem and punishment for your actions should be part of the cure.

Heard someone on the team say he got 4 (rather than 2) because the next 2 games are mean nothing games for the Canucks. So the real 2 games are in playoffs. B-Mac said it made a bit of sense, but if that's the way the NHL is thinking they can go fuck themselves.

holy fuck nhl is rigged. 4 games for torres including 2 playoff games...hossa kicks in a goal yesterday that didnt cross the line and it counts after review because nhl head office didnt have the 'power' to review goal. wtf

they should set a standard, because hockey players are idoits... if they lean in its their fault.
torres hit is an example if a player leans in it would been a normal hit but erberle leaned in causing it to be a hit to his head. This is league run by morons.

This is a common problem in the league ANYWAYS. Clean hit or not clean. Scott Stevens polices those chumps who skate down the middle with their heads down or admiring a pass. Just ask Paul Kariya and Eric Lindross

Glad to have them all back but I'd have a pretty reserved expectation for the next few games; especially Edler who I assume will be a bit rusty and may take more than just the remaining 2 games to hit his full stride.

Like I really don't give a shit whether calls on any contact to the head is made or not. Just be consistent.
These are professionals running the league. I've seen more consistency in pick up/drop in hockey.
