After you sign a retention plan, CHECK YOUR BILL!

For the same thing they add in unlimited text?? for another 10 dollars. and they fucked up the discount on CID so i paid 70 this month..
Also, they said they would credit my account for the sim card i had to buy later. Look at my bill, lo and behold nothing.
i STRONGLY recommend everyone that got a renewal to check their plans and payments carefully
going to call fido tmr and see how things go.. what can i do if they said that this was what you negotiated on..?

Its likely because you made the change in the middle of the billing cycle so your CID credit is messed. It happened to me before too. I just called in and asked if they can credit it fully. Since that is what I was promised.

yeah.. they said it was a prorated charge.. it should work out next month.
Called them today.. they said the CSR messed up my $10 unlimited texting charge. They credited me back $20 and said it shouldn't happen again.

I called in today because I want an Iphone 4s (from blackberry). I'm currently on month 2 month. They offered me:
-200 daytime
-unlimited weekends/evenings @5
-unlimited texts, pic/vid msging
-call id/vm
-500 megs data
for $50 minus a $5 credit so $45 per month before taxes.
I know they're stingy as fuck on credits now and I'm guessing they won't be willing to budge to give out another $5.
I'll try again and see if another rep would be willing to hook it up. If not, I'll probably just take the offer.

Man Phone companies are such bs-ers.
I called for my dad last week to renew his plan in hopes of getting a better deal. He's been with them since 99 and they said the best they can do is 3 dollars and nothing more. I said maybe and to leave it on the account.
Called again today to get that deal but didn't bring it up and just said I was looking for a better deal again. On hold for a bit and now I get 9 dollars off and HUP fee waived.

been with fido for only 2 years when i negoiated, social networking plan is like fb, twitter, msn, yahoo and bbm lol, i use msn and fb, and it shows how much i use, around 450mb suprisedly, and that is with taxes, ur only perk i can see is the unlimited texting.. they gave me 10$ credit

someone posted a tip earlier to pick it up from the apple store and have them charge Fido. that way you will get the phone immediately and you will also have a factory unlocked i4ps should to decide to sell.

^ nah, i renewed both my parents contracts at the same time
my dads is still 22$ish but my moms sky rocketed...and now i get charged for CID on my moms line

If 150mb is all you need (I personally use <100mb/mo on data, ~1gb on wifi) then that's not a bad plan at all. Especially if it covers your voice/texting needs.

I have close to the same plan except with 1gb of data comes out to 47.50. That's about as good as it gets for a regular customer.

Just got this plan:
250 daytime
unlim after 7pm and weekends
2500 text
caller id
voicemail
$25 on month to month.
She also gave me fido to fido/rogers free for one month, said that I want to keep this, I can call in after 1 month and sign a contract to make it permanent. Im planning to call in after 1 month to sign a contract to keep it, probably ask for 5pm weeknights too.
