You should post in your own thread. Your questions may get buried by the other posts.
I remember when I first started working out, I was hesitant to post in that thread because I felt I wasn't at the same "level" as that crowd.
Best site to check out for newbies, IMHO: StrongLifts.com: Gain Strength And Muscle While Losing Fat . Look at the links on the left-hand side. Lots of good info on there.
BTW, that workout thread some consider the be-all-end-all for advice on working out. I don't necessarily think so. The information is definitely there, but just spread out, a lot. Stronglifts is great because the posts are short, concise, and to the point.
