Oh its very true, I went to that gym from fall 2008 till just a few weeks ago 
Try drinking more water and cut out caffeine. When I have too much caffeine I feel very light headed and 'high' -- like I'm disconnected from everything around me. Very hard to explain but sounds like you're in a similar situation. Usually tons of water/gatorade helps.

^makes sense. Caffeine is considered a diuretic by many.
When donating blood at the clinic, we are often told to drink lots of water and stay away from caffeine prior to the visit.

I HAD COFFEE THIS MORNING!!!! and i HAVE been drinking it more recently.. shit, never knew of this side effect. and i've been drinking more BECAUSE i've been feeling like this... was hoping the coffee would re-focus me
i usually drink alot of water already, but i'll try cutting the caffeine and see if that helps. thanks!

Maybe caffeine crash?
Something I learned a few weeks ago @ Starbucks
"Light" coffee - strongest caffeine content ; "Darker" roast - weakest caffeine content.
I usually get a Grande Mild, but was crashing for some reason, I found out the newly introduced "Blonde" is now a "Mild" (stronger caffeine) than "Medium"
