Thanks! The best time to go is mid to late June, as that's when the crops start to show their best colours. The wheat is a beautiful emerald green, and the canola fields are in full bloom. The best times to shoot are in the early morning and late afternoon. I would recommend staying in Colfax, as it's quite central in the Palouse area. When you do go, let me know, as I discovered a few places that aren't visible from the main highways. I'm most likely going next year.

What lens are you using? The bokeh is really distracting...
Just a little criticism: the background is almost brighter than the subject in a few of the shots. The yellow car draws my eye away.
Cool animal, though.

I didnt realize it was the super moon till about 3am and when I looked out back it was hidden by trees so I would have had to haul my gear out to a field around the corner
